Tequila Espresso Martini

A Blue Head Tequila Espresso Martini on a metal tray next to a cocktail shaker, measuring cups with coffee beans and a spoon.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz Silver Tequila

  • 1 oz Coffee Liqueur (such as Kahlua)

  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 1 1/2 oz Freshly Brewed Espresso

  • Ice

  • Coffee Beans (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Espresso: Brew a shot of espresso and let it cool to room temperature.

  2. Chill Glass: Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice and cold water. Let it sit while you prepare the cocktail.

  3. Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, add silver tequila, coffee liqueur, simple syrup, and freshly brewed espresso.

  4. Shake: Fill the shaker with ice, then shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This helps to chill and aerate the mixture.

  5. Strain: Discard the ice from the chilled martini glass. Strain the shaken mixture into the glass, using a cocktail strainer to catch any ice or coffee grounds.

  6. Garnish: If desired, garnish the cocktail with a few coffee beans floating on top. This adds aroma and visual appeal.

  7. Serve: Serve immediately while the cocktail is cold and fresh.
